Why should my family join scouts?

Cub Scouts is a FAMILY-oriented group that encourages our youth through learning valuable LIFE SKILLS and TEAMWORK while fostering an environment to BOND with their parents.

Pack 157 is based in Avalon Park, Florida. Our Cub Scout pack consists of boys and girls from Kindergarten through 5th grade. We encourage family involvement at all levels. From building Pinewood Derby cars to campouts and community events, our families like to have FUN! We'd love for you to join us.  

Families and Scouts should expect one pack meeting each month during the school year. These usually take place on a Tuesday evening. Den meetings take place weekly or bi-weekly and vary depending on the den. We participate in various activities and community events throughout the year.
