“Scouting for Food” is the nation’s largest single-day food drive. One in five children live in a food insecure home. There are children who don’t know where their next meal will come from in every community." In Avalon Park, Scouting For Food bag drop-offs take place on the 1st Saturday in November. The food donation pick-ups take place the following Saturday. In 2023, Pack 157 collected 483 bags! At an estimated 3,622 pounds of food!! Thank you to our Avalon Park Community for all that you do! 

REMEMBER the Fallen. . . HONOR those who Serve. . . TEACH our children the value of Freedom. Pack 157 is proud to participate annually in the Wreaths Across America program. Help us honor and remember as many fallen heroes as possible by sponsoring remembrance wreaths, volunteering on Wreaths Day, or inviting your family and friends to attend with you.
